Simple Steps To Be Healthy, Fit And Feel Fabulous

by Alexandra McAllister on January 18, 2012

Do You Find Getting And Keeping Healthy And Fit A Challenge?

I Did! But I Found A Solution That Works!

After years of struggling with my weight, following diets, programs, etc., I still was far from my weight goal, in fact, I kept on adding the pounds!  When I finally took control of my life and did my "homework," I found what worked. I shed the weight, got in shape and feel fabulous! So can you!

A number of people that follow my blog, asked me to share what I take, in one post.  Well, to lose weight, have an abundance of energy and stay focused, I needed more than one product. This post is to share what they are!

This is me, Alexandra, January 18th (2012).  Once I've accomplished a goal, I reward myself.  A trip to the hairdresser was my gift to myself.

I suggest you do the same.  As one goal is achieved, reward yourself with something that makes you happy, feel good or smile.  You are worth it!

So are you ready?  Great! Let the fun begin!

First thing in the morning, I prepare my JavaFit CoffeeThere are several blends.  My favorite is JavaFit IMPACT. Impact is enriched with 14 beneficial mushroom extracts and gourmet coffee.  It enables the body to activate its natural healing ability, it detoxifies, invigorates and energizes, while reducing fatigue.

For an even healthier twist, I add coconut, soya or rice milk.

At 10:00 A.M., I take 1 ZIP™  -  ZIP™ is an all-natural formula which contains Geranium extract combined with other proven natural compounds. This combination of natural ingredients triggers the body’s fat-burning mechanism while boosting energy levels.

In addition, during the fat burning process initiated by ZIP™ appetite is curbed thereby reducing caloric intake for accelerated weight loss.

Since appetite is curbed, cravings for sweets and salt, I found, was greatly diminished. It was easier to eat healthy and lose weight without dieting or counting calories!

Another ZIP™ is taken around 3:00 P.M., again, curbing the appetite and therefore able to control what is eaten for dinner.  Order it here.

I began to walk every other day till I reached my goal of 5 miles per day!  It took a while. I found I got really tired at the 3 mile mark.  So, I began drinking a healthy energy drink.

It is DrinkACT!  It is a healthy energy drink that works in minutes and lasts for hours!

I suggest DrinkACT 10 minutes before walking, exercising or just for an extra boost of healthy energy.  You're going to love it!

More good news! Both JavaFit coffee and DrinkACT can be ordered on the same site! Once you've signed in, which is FREE, on the DrinkACT site, you'll find JavaFit coffee there as well

That's it! That's my secret to losing weight, keeping fit and feeling fabulous! Believe me, if I can do it, so can you!

Thank you for sharing your story! It is very inspirational.
How did you find out about these products?  What do you like best about them?  Are they all natural?  I'd love to hear more about them. :)

Molly, I’ve tried “everything” on the market because they sounded so easy and good! I was wrong! Mind you, a lot were good but either too time consuming or expensive…no need for it, really. I finally did my homework and went with the advice from people I knew personally. I tried the products first and then began to share with close friends. It worked and that made me confident to share with everyone. YES, they are natural. All the info is on the site(s). I am here for you so any time you’d like to connect, just let me know. Have an amazing day and thanks for stopping in.

Interesting article and products.  I really enjoyed your success story and the fact that you are walking 5 plus miles a day.  That in my mind is the key to your success and the products you promote have helped you get to that level of exercise.  You rock Alexandra!

Thank you Claude! I do walk 5 miles with my 2 fur-kids….a toy poodle & a yorkie….in the summer & fall. Right now, below zero is not the time to take them out. They would freeze their little paws! On “warmer” days, I do take them out for quick walks but they do get cold even with a sweater. I get my 5 miles on my elliptical or on the stairs in my building. Love to keep moving! I love sharing my products, especially since they are so simple, healthy & affordable. It’s a win-win!! Take good care!

Thanks Dawn. I love smoothies! Of course, I drink more in the summer but they are also great as a”lift me upper” any time of the year!

Thanks for sharing that you struggled – I find it easiest to relate to health and fitness coaches who share their personal struggles. I also appreciate that you added the times that you take your supplements – when to take supplements (what times of day, before or after exercise, etc.) is definitely an issue I'd love you to explore!

Yes Carly, I did struggle! I believed everything I saw on TV or in magazines. I can’t say that they didn’t work…just didn’t work for me. I wanted to find a combination that would fit my lifestyle, be simple, healthy and affordable. With time and patience, I found it and love sharing!

Interesting you list what works and what time you take your coffee, Zip and DrinkAct.  I schedule everything else, but my supplements, juicing and exercise. I'll start today!

Yes, scheduling is important…like everything else….work, play and exercise etc. Being on a schedule holds one accountable. Also having a buddy system is great! Thanks for dropping in!

Sounds like you have it down!  I remembered the ZIP from a previous post – I'm glad it's all working for you!!

Reply

14 Alexandra McAllister January 25, 2012 at 4:17 PM

Yes, I love ZIP! I started taking it months ago and it was so easy to reach my weight goal. Now, I eat healthy, exercise as much as I can and when I do “fall off the wagon” and gain a couple of pounds, I just start taking ZIP again and within the same week, it is gone! Love it!

17 Alexandra McAllister January 25, 2012 at 4:14 PM

You are most welcome Sherie. I have been receiving a lot of emails asking exactly what I did so instead of answering each and every one, I thought it would be easier just to list what I did! Also, it can help many people who perhaps have had a challenge with their weight loss or lack of energy! It is winter here in Montreal and below zero so walking has been put on hold. For now, I use my elliptical machine or walk up and down the stairs where I live. Either way, it gets me moving which is great! Thanks for dropping by!

Thanks for sharing your story. I read the title of your post and said "YES!". Since I had my son, I've struggled more with gaining extra pounds. It used to be very easy for me to keep the weight down. When I was walking regularly I did much better. I have to get back into that!

Reply

28 Alexandra McAllister January 26, 2012 at 11:41 AM

Yes Sara, the pounds sneak on slowly…before we know it…WOW! LOL! What I love about ZIP, is that it curbs our cravings…I found the most challenging! So, it can be easy to lose weight. Of course, I love to exercise, more in the summer as I can walk 5 miles or more per day. Still, now, in the winter, I use my elliptical or walk the stairs in my building. Just keep moving is good!

Wow Alexandra, sounds like you have your program tight.  Do you sweeten your coffee with anything?

Reply

30 Alexandra McAllister January 26, 2012 at 11:37 AM

Yes, it works Beau!! No, I don’t use any kind of sweetener. I do however, instead of hot water, mix either soya, rice or coconut milk when I drink JavaFit coffee. Love the taste!

Are any of these good for people with high blood pressure?

Reply

33 Alexandra McAllister January 26, 2012 at 5:54 PM

Good question Tony. If you drink coffee now without any problems then you should be able to drink JavaFit coffee. As for taking ZIP for weight loss… one capsule of ZIP has about as much caffeine as in a cup of coffee. The same goes for the healthy energy drink. Either way, it is always best and suggested to speak with your doctor before trying anything new. I would suggest taking one product first and then wait before taking another shortly afterwards. You can check your blood pressure that way. I wouldn’t take ZIP with coffee and then an energy drink! LOL!

OH my, 5 miles a day!  That makes me tired just thinking about it! =)  Sweet and salty are definitely my downfall, and for some reason they always seem to be best one right after the other, ha.  Good for you for rewarding yourself, it looks nice!! =)

Reply

35 Alexandra McAllister January 26, 2012 at 11:32 AM

Stacey, it is below freezing here so I exercise inside as much as possible. With freezing rain and ice on the paths, I feel it’s not worth the risk of walking on it! LOL! I do the elliptical machine or walking up and down the stairs in my building. Good just to keep moving! Yes, sweet and salt were my downfalls as well. With ZIP, those cravings are gone so it is so easy to eat healthy.

Alexandra – It's wonderful that we can actually do something about our weight. I have been overweight for sometime now and a few months ago decided to do something about it. I have tried in the past too, but wasn't quite as determined as I am this time. Now it's eating healthy and walks for me and the results are showing! So glad we're on the same journey. Rhonda, yes I have. As I mention in my blog post, there are many products that are great. People stop taking them for whatever reasons. I’ve shared how taking ZIP made losing weight simple, effective and affordable.

Yes Rhonda, I have heard of it. As I’ve mentioned, there are many great products on the market. The issue is that not everyone wants to follow a “system,” others may find it expensive…and the list goes on. With DrinkACT, we also have a proven weight loss program which is excellent….but it does cost more than ZIP! I have listed what I found is simple, safe and affordable.
